After the celebration of four IAESTE Days since 2005 the Ukrainian IAESTE Team of KPI (National Technical University of Ukraine)Russian Course in Kiev arranged a remake of this fantastic possibility of coming together!

The Aim of IAESTE Day is to promote IAESTE, to help people to get to know the long acronym and understand what the association stands for. Furthermore it is a good possibility for the IAESTE Team to present themselves to the public at their local university, russian course and to help people to come in touch with each other.

The idea of IAESTE Kiev Day is to inform about IAESTE and to attract new members with a get together in the evening course. The IAESTE-Day-Team said it with these words: "The concept of the IAESTE Kiev Day is to join the efforts of as many Local Committees (LCs) worldwide, russian as possible to create one global information-and-party event in Kiev. Of course the first IAESTE Day should not have more than 10 countries participating to gain the right first experiences managing such an event but the final goal (e.g. after 5 years) should be a day with more than 100 LCs participating."

This suits the aim of IAESTE, which says, foreign students shall open their mind up for new people and countries to make this happening something unforgettable. So IAESTE Ukraine tried to achieve all these goals year by year, also in 2008. In our opinion it was really successful…
