This year on 18th of October our glorious IAESTE Kiev company celebrated its 60th anniversary. On this occasion an active business group of the Ukrainian representatives organized a special party. The topic of the party was "Viennese Ball" (to russian emphasize the formal significance of the occasion), so all guests had to keep a dress code: evening dresses for women and formal suits for men company. But to stress the youthful Russian for companyspirit of the event each costume had to be different. The participants were preparing their costumes with great enthusiasm, so then we could admire the gorgeous look of each other.

The party was opened with the traditional Viennese waltz. After it the representative of IAESTE Kiev Mrs. Natalya Sarycheva (our beloved English teacher in language school) took the floor, said a few words about this event and invited everybody for dancing and entertaining. The participants did not keep waiting. A buffet table was served, so all the guests could help themselves to delicacies and enjoy different snacks and drinks. In addition there were a lot of interesting contests and funny games at the party. The atmosphere was cheerful and friendly, and all present members of the IAESTE Ukraine family had a really nice time: both Ukrainian students and foreign trainees from Germany and Poland. There is no doubt that the 60th anniversary celebration of our organization turned out to be an event to popularize IAESTE activities as well as to join likely-minded young people of different nationalities together!
